Eric Nitzberg, M.T.S., is the Principal of Sierra Leadership. A seasoned executive coach and facilitator, he helps leaders focus on what is most important, improve communication skills and alignment with key stakeholders, build influence and lead from a foundation of deep-seated authenticity.  His clients have found him to be an especially valuable resource when they face high-stakes, mission critical presentations.

An Executive Coach with an Executive Background

Prior to executive coaching, he held a series of organizational leadership and executive positions. His responsibilities involved coaching and supervising managers and directors, strategic planning, leadership development, board leadership, finance, HR and operations.  Eric also has more than two decades of public speaking experience, including an extensive background as a professional speaker.

Eric is also an Executive Leadership Coach at Mariposa Leadership, a Communication Coach at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a past board member of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association. His educational background includes an M.T.S. from Vanderbilt University, and a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oregon Honors College.  He speaks conversational Mandarin, intermediate French and simple German. Eric is certified in Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching and received additional coach training at Strozzi Institute.
